| The working principle of Solar Water Heaters, shortly referred to as SWH, is easy. A solar thermal collector is installed on the house roof (theoretically it can be placed anywhere, though the roof is generally the most exposed surface in a household) where it collects the sun thermal radiations. While connected to a water tank, it can transfer the heat to the water directly (open loop system) or indirectly (closed loop system) via a heat exchange medium (liquid, air). |
